Woohoo! 100th post!
Wow, what a party! Last night I had the pleasure of being a part of the Designer Boutique at the Art of Fashion at the Pantages Hotel. The afternoon was dead, but from 6-1am, the party was in full gear with live music, a DJ, design competition and vendors selling their wares. I met some pretty awesome vendors who toughed out the 12 hour day with me and saw some pretty interesting designs during the live runway show. Oh yeah, and no event is complete without an awesome flash mob. Check out how the event went down.

Meghan Erin – Love the girly, lacey, frilly designs.
Kate Laird & Jen Murtagh – This reminds me of Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?” music video. Weird is awesome!
Seema Patel – I was watching her models walk around the whole night. I would wear any one of these pieces. She’s my pick for Most Promising Designer.
Last but not least, the “Moves Like Jagger” flash mob! What a fun night. Hopefully I’ll get to do this again next year. Big thanks to my family for helping me behind the scenes. Dad, you really should have gone into industrial design. Thanks for building my collapsible headband stand. Little bro, thanks for moving stuff around and cleaning up my mess. Big hug to my mom for being there the whole time, tagging my items, doing inventory until 2 in the morning the night before and standing at the front line until we’re tired, hungry and delirious! Love you all! <3
Amanda great review of the event! Man I didn’t even take that many pictures it was soooo crowded I couldn’t fight my way through! What time was that flash mob at? I totally missed it!!!
