Enjoying the chilly Fall weather? I’m not. The only good thing about Canadian winters is the fashionable look of layering and getting to wear trendy boots. Here’s one of my favourite pairs. I bought these about 6 years ago in a small shop in Chinatown for about $15. They were a steal and I wore them down so much that I had to replace the heel. I bought a red knee-length pair as well that day, but it eventually made its way to Goodwill after years of collecting dust. I never quite got around to making that Superwoman costume.
The crushed velvet makes this boot look so much more luxe and expensive than it actually is. I paired it with the Lucia Black Mesh Arrow Fascinator I created when I thought of what I would wear to a black tie event. It might poke out a few eyes but sure looks classy. Check it out here on Etsy.
