Hup, two, three, four…
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a soldier from the Army National Guard in Kansas. She was organizing a military auction at a gala for the troops who had just returned from Afghanistan and asked Featherband to make an auction donation. All the proceeds go to sending care packages to the troops still deployed. I’ve been inspired to make a military-inspired piece for quite some time now, so it took no time to whip up a fascinator to honour the soldiers who have risked their lives to keep North America safe. Thank you to the men and women who have fought for our country. It is your bravery and selflessness in the face of danger that allows us live in freedom.
